  • 1.  SWG compatible with windows live messenger 2011?

    Hi all,

    I had 1 SWG with version 4.5, intragate with LDAP using NTLM. Previously the box is working fine and User can login to window live messenger. Recently Microsoft had upgrade the window live messenger to latest version which is messenger 2011. After the upgrade, user cant login to latest live messenger.

    Any one here encouter the same problem ?

    How is Application Control configured for Instant Messaging, are you blocking any of these apps?  Are you blocking IM Apps for any of the group policies you have?  If you try to connect LiveMesenger and then check the Custom log file filtering for the client you are testing from, do you see any blocked activity?  Is the correct policy applying?

    Reconfigure the policy for blocking the IM & then try & reinstall the MSN Messenger, hope that will solve your porblem.
