Workspace Streaming

Hey Everyone, we are starting our image creation for the Fall 2010 Computers Labs here at work at Rice University and are currently running SWS 6.1 which only has support for Windows XP and Vista Streaming of Virtualized Packages.  Although we have tried a beta version of SWS 6.2 with included Windows 7 support, we are not allowed to use that in a production environment.  Can anyone please tell me what the current ETA is a finalized release of SWS 6.2?  I am eagerly hoping we can use it in an official capacity in our environment before August and just import our SWV 6.1 packages into it.  Thanks so much!

Hello.  The SEV development and QA team are in the final phase of readying SWS 6.1 SP4 (fka 6.2) for release.  It should be available for download close to the end of May. 

So just to make sure I am on the same page, 6.1 SP4 is going to include Windows 7 Streaming Support rather than coming out with a version increment ala 6.2?

Yes, that's correct.  SWS 6.1 SP4 will include Windows 7 streaming support.

Will the Outlook problem from SWV 6.1.5126 be fixed in 6.1 SP4?
