    Hello,

     

    Can some one help me with this error on Sybase Central with the error similar to this site

    I got the error after encrypting the Data drive (disk 1) and i was unable to run the backup job on Sybase using this command "dump database master to 'compress "9 d:\master.dmp'

    All firewall are off and already test connection using telnet. The backup server is also the local server running the backup job. I also already change the port use for the command

    I don´t know how Sybase access disk. If disk has been authenticated, all information is available to users on this PC. We cannot assure these enviroment will work together. I haven´t found any experience or article on this.

    You should ask Sybase support if data encryption is possbible at this point.
