I have seen many article/forums discussing error codes but didn't see any particular one about....

Unable to query return content length for SendRequest, 122

It always shows up with other errors.  Everything else in the sylink log looks fine.  No other errors.  Any ideas what the error code means?

    Appreciate any help.

Again, thanks for any help you can provide.  I attached part of the sylink log file from one of the workstations.  Hopefully it is enough.  Reading the setup information doesn't make it sound too difficult but I must be missing something.

    Findings on Sylink.log :

    02/08 12:17:20 [1376] <ParseHTTPStatusCode:>469=>469 CONTENT PENDING

The "Content Pending" message is sent by Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager to the client when it is preparing a "Delta" definition set for the client. When client receives the "469" code, it will put itself in accelerated heartbeat mode, waiting for Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager to finish the creation of the Delta.

    Cause

Due to corrupted definitions in Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager, it is unable to create delta definitions for the clients.
    Solution

    Solution

    Cleanup the definitions in SEPM.

1.) Stop Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager service.
    2.) File system cleanup
Go to location ‘\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\Inetpub\content’
Delete all numbered folders(e.g. 90920019) in each alphanumeric folders(e.g. {1CD85198-26C6-4bac-8C72-5D34B025DE35})
    3.) Database cleanup
Go to ‘\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\SymcData\’ and delete the following folders:
    sesmipsdef32, sesmipsdef64, sesmvirdef32, sesmvirdef64
Caution: Please backup your registry before editing

4.) Open the Registry Editor and export the registry settings as backup.
5.) In the Registry Editor, got to the Key- ‘HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symantec\InstalledApps’ and in the right pane delete the following value entries-
    SymcData-sesmipsdef32
    SymcData-sesmipsdef64
    SymcData-sesmvirdef32
    SymcData-sesmvirdef64
(For 64Bit server, Key is- ‘HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\symantec\installedapps\’)
6.) Also delete the following Registry Keys-
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symantec\SharedDefs\SymcData-sesmipsdef32
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symantec\SharedDefs\SymcData-sesmipsdef64
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symantec\SharedDefs\SymcData-sesmvirdef32
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symantec\SharedDefs\SymcData-sesmvirdef64
(For 64Bit server, Keys-‘HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Symantec\SharedDefs\SymcData-sesmipsdef32’……….and so on.)
    7.) Delete the contents of folder- ‘C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\LiveUpdate\Downloads’.
8.) Start Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager service.
    9.) Re-register SEPM with LiveUpdate:
    1) Click Start, then Run.
    2) Type cmd, then click OK. This will bring up a command prompt.
    3) At the command prompt type cd and the path to lucatalog.exe. By default the command would be:
    cd C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\bin
    4) Type in 'lucatalog.exe -Cleanup'
    5) After the first command executed, type in 'lucatalog.exe -update.
Run Liveupdate in Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager
The Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager will be able to create delta definitions for the clients and distribute them.
