Endpoint Protection

I just want to change an unmanaged client to managed.
I understand I can just utilized the Communication Settings - Import button now...
However, where do I obtain the sylink.xml file from?
Is it on the SEPM somewhere?

Also, if someone could please just notate where it is on the server and the client?

go to clients then right click on the group that you want to retrieve the settings from and click Export Communication Settings. you will get something like Organization_Group1_Group2_sylink.xml file so rename it before copying to the client. On the client it's in the main program folder (Symantec Endpoint Protection by default).
