    Hello,

seems some SEP clients does not use correctly the sylink included in our setup to be automatically added in the PreferredGroup we choose. They directly go to the Default group. On these computers, I can see a SyLink.xml.no file in the cache install folder.

Can someone tell me what is this file ?

    thansk in advance.

set this setting, then export the package and then install, share the results

How to create a client install setting to remove previous logs, policies and reset the client-server communication settings.

The file doesn't ring any bells.  Can you provide the path you found this in, and do the contents correctly match a proper sylink file?

Also, have you verified this was not a manual change?

Ok I found the problem... seems to be an procedure used during our install procedure..

    So not on Symantec side.

    Thanks anyway for your help.
