Sym Endpoint Blocking Email from Sym System Recovery

Symantec Endpoint 12.1 on a Win7-64bit desktop seems to be blocking Symantec System Recovery from sending email notifications.  No email can be sent unless I disable Endpoint.

Ideas on how to solve this dilemma?

Thanx,

I'm not a SEP expert but it

I'm not a SEP expert but it sounds like you need to create a rule with SEP that allows outbound SMTP traffic on port 25.

If necessary, you can also change the port that BESR/SSR uses for SMTP:

Hope that helps.

Interesting though but

Interesting though but Endpoint does not block email from my email client, Thunderbird.  Perhaps that is because Symantec continues to fail not support smtp in 64 bit operating systems.  Way to go, Sym!
