Symantec 10 antivirus for Mac: getting it to work on Lion

We have Symantec 10.0 for mac and it doesn't work on Lion. I went to our download site to download the version there and it says I can't install on my mac.

Unfortunately SAV does not support the Lion OS. You need to upgrade to 11.0.7 MP1 and later for the SEP 11.0.x product family and Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1 RU1 and later for the SEP 12.1.x product family.
