I have 2 sites, both of which have Windows SBS 2011 running Endpoint Protection Version 12.1.1101.401 and on a few occasions I have logged onto them to find that the anti-virus is not running.
To resolve this on one of the servers it seems to be a case of just restarting the service. On the other server I have had to perform a reboot (this has now happened on 2 occassions).
Any advice would be greatly approeciated and please let me know if you need any further info.
The event logs on the server that just needed a restart stated 'The Symantec Endpoint Protection service terminated unexpectedly. This has happened 3 times'
There is no relevant info in the logs on the server that performed a reboot.
