  • 1.  Symantec agent not updating in Altiris server

    Hi,

    Issue with The symantec management agent on the Altiris Server. Under symantec management agent settings - The configuration and basic inventory sections dont seem to be updating themselves. I believe that they should but I may be wrong. Even when I try to update manually the date doesn't change. anyone got any ideas ?

    version CMS = Latest

    Hi Joe.

     

    Please check the status of Altiris services on NS server: are they running?

    Altiris Client Message Dispatcher

    Altiris Event Engine

    Altiris Event Receiver

    Altiris Support Service

    Also, check Console -> All Settings -> Notification Server -> Notification Server Settings -> Processing tab. Does "Server Processing" turned-on or not?

    Hi Alex,

    Yep - all those services are started. Server processing is turned on. I did try restarting the services also from that page but still no luck. won't update.
