    Hi ,

Iam working in an organisation with 300+ branches. The bandwidth utilization goes extremely high on peak hours due to antivrus updation which takes place in those branches. Usually we will uncheck the communication settings ie:, unchecking the "Download policies and contents from the management server". But it can be seen that the branches are still getting updates from the antivirus server even after 30 minutes.!!!

We are using symantec endpoint protection manager 12.1.. and have created 300+ groups for our individual branches.

    Thanks,

    Anish

    Hi,

All those branches are connected via WAN links? Bandwidth size between main site and  branches?

What's the source for those branches to receive definitions updates?

Could you please update total how many content revisions are saved by SEPM.

Best Practices for configuring the number of content revisions to keep in Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager:

If clients are reuesting full.zip instead of delta updates then bandwidht utilization can increaese.
