    Hello,

Why are you trying to start these Services?

By default, it is in "Stop" State and Start-up type is set to "Manual".

Your issue is not about upgrading Version of SEP, but updating of Antivirus Definitions!!!

Could you check if the SEP client is communicating to SEPM?

Do you see a green dot to the Shield of SEP client under the TaskBar?

On the client workstations SEP Shield does not have green dot, it wouldn't allowed to update. I get this error message

Symantec Endpoint Protection has requested new defintions from the management server. This problem will disapper after the server responds and the update is complete.

I even checked my SEPM, I also updated liveupdate on server tab under admin.

I don't know why it not working and my shield is not green dot.

    Hello,

Did you try Replacing the Sylink File on this machine. Try the steps provided in the Article provided below:

Restoring communication to clients with a new Sylink.xml file

To know why the SEP client is not reporting to the SEPM and not carrying the Green dot, we will have to check the Sylink Log.
