Hi Yashoo, The backups are

Hi Yashoo,

The backups are actually done using Remote Agent for Windows Servers (RAWS). Your licenses are installed on your media server, which can then see the appication (be it Exchange, SQL etc) on the server you are trying to backup, through the RAWS agent.
You can find the admin guide for BEWS 12.5 here...

http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/308400.htm

It will also explain what you are looking for additionally!

In addition to the Admin

In addition to the Admin Guide Dev T pointed you at, here are links to the Best Practices docs and the Quick Start Guide (the Admin Guide can be overwhelming if you have never used BackupExec)

@Yashoo, This forum is not

@Yashoo,

This forum is not for people who want to learn Backup Exec. If you want to know Backup Exec you need a lot of practise and Hands On. Install Backup Exec and learn from the HELP option which is built in the software. You will find lot of videos on Youtube on Backup Exec
