Symantec Backup Exec 12.5 Catalog

Hi Guys i'm busy with Cataloguing all our media.
And for some reason this one tape is being catalogue and it's job status for the last hour says "Loading Media"
Why is that?
The drive itself indicated "Drive ULD"
Then after a few minutes it unloads the same tape and reloads it again?
Any ideas?

1 of 2 things:
1. Hardware problem with the drive itself. You can verify this by trying to catalog another tape. If it does the same thing, get hold of your drive manufacturer's diagnostic tool (HP has HP LTT...Library and Tape Tools), and run some diagnostic tests against it.
2. Problem with the tape itself. You can use another tape as in #1 to check. If it catalogs that tape, it's a faulty tape.
