Symantec Backup Exec 2012 y servidor SQL server con SQLExpress 2005 SP2,

Created: 08 May 2013 | 13 comments

Gracias

Backup Exec account permissions to backup SQL dBs can also cause this issue. Ensure the Backup Exec logon account is added in SQL logins & has sysadmin, db_owner permissions to backup (and run a consistency check) of the SQL dBs.

I was able to back up without the review of integrity so do not think it's permissions.
What else can it be?

Hello there,

Backup Exec uses SQL VDI to backup the SQL databases. So you may also try to manually take the backups from SQL Management console and see if you still get the errors during the manual backups.

Right steps are... right click on the database in the SQL Mangement console>> Task>> Backups.

It would be more helpful if you provide the exact error as mentioned by CraigV.

Thanks,

-Sush...

Hope this piece of Information Helps you... and if it does then mark this response as Solution....!!!

This is the summary of my case:

Exact Error: V-79-57344-65085

We have an installation on Dell server with Windows Server 2008 and Symantec Backup Exec 2012, connected to Unit Robotics Dell TL2000 via iSCSI which is working correctly, we are making backup from 5 servers including server backup exec, one of them is a SQL server SQLExpress 2005 server with SP2, the time of the backup task SQLExpress server, gives a warning to us not to be able to run this task because the physical and logical integrity of the BD's is giving error. I did tests Physical and logical integrity of the DB's. and continues to the SQL server with SQLExpress 2005 SP2, when performing the backup task SQLExpress server, an error message or warning.

Specifically what is causing this alert?

1) a configuration of Symantec Back Exec 2012

2) an issue of Robotica Unit funcionamimento Dell TL 2000.

3) And most importantly how to correct?

Thank
