Hi everybody,

I am planing to buy the Symantec Backup Exec Appliance 3600 for an customer.

It is Small Buisness with VMware ESXi and around 25 VMs.

Which Edition should I buy Essential Protection Edition or Total Protection Edition??

Hi,

Depends on how much you want in the application. Check the TN below:

While the Essential Protection Suite might be cheaper, you need to consider whether or not you will need the Optional features in future. If so, these are going to have to be licensed individually and might end up working out more expensive than just buying the Total Protection Suite.
