Hi there! I was asked to try out Symantec Backup EXEC System Recovery 8.5 Desktop and Server Editions. At the time I started I didn't know the difference between them.
I was asked to see If the both versions were able to be installed in the same machine, in my case I am using a virtual machine with Windows Server 2008. After I installed the Symantec Backup EXEC System Recovery 8.5 Desktop Edition I tried to install the Server Edition and so I saw that the installation is one and only, and so they can't be installed in the same machine.
My questions are:

1) Can I just install one per machine?

2) If the installation is the same, what are the differences between them, as for functions?

3) If they are the same, is the kind of licence that make them different?

Hope to have an answer soon. :D

Thanks in advance!

Server Edition and Desktop Edition

Can anybody help me on this one?
I have been testing this, and I can see what's the difference between server edition or desktop edition?
