Endpoint Protection

I am currently facing a weird problem with a few of my SEP server clients. I have an environment of 300+ work stations and 85 servers. All are on a windows platform. On ten of my server 2003 clients I am getting a Symantec CMS SMC error message. I have tried to send an error report and close it. Either will result in the message to keep coming up. These servers are all Server 2003 32 bit, with all the latest updates. I am currently running SEP 11.0.6. I have tried running clean wipe and doing a fresh install, and get the same result. I also built a new install package that has just AV and Proactive Threat and get the same message. I have made sure that Windows Firewall is also turned off. I am really at a loss here. The only thing that all these servers have in common is that they all have the role of "file server". I have no other AV products installed, and my network administrator is getting very frustrated with me over this. Any ideas??

check device manager to see if there is any faulting driver in the list

if u need to uninstall or update any , please do and try the reinstall of the software.

Is that CMS Smc or CMC Smc Error?

Please Provide the Full Version of SEP?

Is that 11.0.5002 OR 11.0.6200 OR 11.0.6300?

Make sure you are Installing the Latest version of SEP 11.0.6300?

And Make sure you disable the Windows Firewall.

The version of SEP that I am running currently is 11.0.6005.562. This issue has been going on since 11.0.4 unfortunatly. I have verified that Windows Firewall is not running on any of these servers, and device manager shows no unknown devices. Also in the error message it says SMC CMC error. Any ideas? Thanks
