This issue has been solved. See solution.
Dear All,

Does anyone know why, when I enter everything for Endpoint Managment and enter the product, etc, it rejects it and says that I must enter a product?

I am using IE 8.

I NEED TO SUBMIT ISSUES, GUYS!!

Regards,

What product are you selecting? Have you tried a different browser? Can you provide a sceenshot?

Thanks,

Thomas

Thomas,

Sorry, but the problem has gone away - it is now working. However, it has happened in the past, but I was able to find an answer somewhere else, so I did not report it.

I was using IE8 with Endpoint Management or even Inside Symantec. I switched over to Chrome and I am using Chrome for this content.

It is really frustrating when it happens and I can imagine that it would frustrate someone else and makes Symantec look bad.

QuietLeni

What is the point of an Asset Management Solution that needs excessive management? Let me help you.

Mark it as solved. So, it will not appear in 'Can you solve this' section.

Craig, hi

When I (and other people) are entering any section on Connect, there is a block in the right upper corner named 'Can you solve this?'

I am looking there very often in order to see what problems community members are facing and what are the proposed solutions. When community members enter this thread - they might be confused and waste their time because the problem has gone and does not repro.

Thus the thread should be somehow removed from the 'Can you solve this?' list and I do not know other way but the one - author should make it as solved - the automatically the thred will be moved to recently solved.

In order to not get undeserved points for the 'solution' author should Mark as Solution his own post (I assume that authors are not given any points for solving their own threads).

This is my personal opinion.

Kind Regards, Volo

I marked the post "Solved" so that it is removed from the "Can you solve this" section of the Community.

Thanks,
