Symantec critical system protection after installation of Agent do the client need to reboot?

    I am refferomg to the installation of agent of scp into the ibm aix client, the the ibm client need to be restart/reboot after the installation?

    same goes to the unix and windows agent.

    No, you don't need to restart AIX machine after SCSP agent installation or uninstallation. In case of Windows or Linux agent it depends what functionality is enabled. If you want to enable only Intrusion Detection then you also don't need to restart those machines, but if you also want to enable Intrusion Prevention then you should perform reboot.
