  • 1.  Symantec Data Center Security Server Agent Service terminated unexpectedly

    Hi,

    I see the below message in the Windows event log

    "Symantec Data Center Security Server Agent Service terminated unexpectedly"

    And i found that "Symantec Data Center Security Server Agent"  service is not running. so i tried to start the same..but it never stay in started..it stops automatically...

    Please advise..

    After i restarted machine, the service started automatically....but after some time it stopped automatically..

    Look in the SISIPSService.log located in the scsplog folder for more info.  This log deals with the service/engine of SCSP.

    If it is not apparent, then run "sisipsconfig -trace" from a command line to enable verbose debugging and reproduce the issue.  If then you still cannot see what caused the issue, pull a Collect Agent Info with the verbose debug option logs and open a support case.
