    Hello,

We have some problem with VML policy implemetation at our customers site. We have enabled a very basic VML policy (min. size index, 50-50 documents just for test purposes). Some time later on the Network Monitor server the disk usage started to increase and file reader restarting excessively. We have checked what cause the disk usage and found that under \SymantecDLP\protect\bin folder there are a lot of hs_err_pidXXX.mdmp files with 2GB size.

In pair with the .mdmp files there are error logs ( I've attached some)

It seems to be a java issue. Maybe the VML policy cause too much load on the monitor server? When we disabled the VML policy the filereader became normal and no new files generated under the \bin\ folder.

The Network Monitor servers runs on a Win 2008 Ent R2 server with 64 Gb RAM and 140 GB HDD.

    Thanks, for your help.

    regards,

    Laszlo
