Symantec DLP agents

How symantec DLP agent software is provided ? is it created from Enforce server like SEPM ? What are config needs to be done before agent deployment.

when you download all the software thereis a folder for linux and windows 32 and 64 bit agents...
this is the agent you deploy and that talks to the endpoint server, the endpoint server then talks to the enforce server. if you need more help let me know
if your question is if agents can be installed useing enforce server, then the answer is no.

Hi Santosh,
As per my knowledege DLP agent can not be created from Enforec server , it can only be managed from it. U will find the agent from fileconnect / CD (Symantec )when u download all the DLP softwares. yes during deployment u need to add ip address of Endpoint server etc.

there are also some other items if you own the Altiris, you can push agents from there and manage them also. if you want to gear more let me know
