    What a funny question, but still is important: does one need CALs for Windows Server when installing Symantec DLP?

    Yes You need to Cals License for windows server for updating Microsoft Patch

    As I know Windows Server CALs are required when user and/or client application does access the server. How it works for DLP, what you can say?

    CALs Licensing only windows patch updation .

    No u dont need CAL if u just instaling DLP as DLP has its own licence. CAL is used for Windows patch.
