We have several laptops with Symantec encryption desktop ver. 10.3.0 and we have recently notice that when users change their Windows password they still have to use the old password in the Bootguard

we remember that a long time ago this was happening automatically when people changed their password bootguard password was also changed without any intervention.

Today every time somebody change the password i have to manually delete the existant user from Users Access in the software dashboard and added it again with the new password.

can somebody give a hand on this please

    Hi Alain-Diaz,

Are you changing the password using Cltr+Alt+Del keys or from Active Directory?

Could you please upgrade a client to the latest version 10.3.2 MP9 and check the behavior.

To get the latest version for a standalone machine Go to https://fileconnect.symantec.com

Using the serial number select the Symantec Drive Encryption Standalone (without Management Server) 10.3 option.

Under Multilingual select "SymantecEncryptionDesktop10.3.2MP9_Windows.zip", download and extract and select the installation file for 32 or 64 bit machine.
