To solve this problem, please to the steps bellow:

    1. Go to database directory(ex. C:\Program Files (x86)\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection

Manager\db) and remove everything besides sem5.db file.
    2. Open command line and navigate to %ProgramFiles%\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection

    Manager\ASA\win32.
    3. Run command:
    dbsrv11 -f"C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\db\sem5.db"
    3. Start Symantec Embedded Database.
    4. Run dbisqlc from "C:\Program Files (x86)\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection

Manager\ASA\win32". and log into Database like in the picture.
    5. Run query DROP INDEX I_SEM_AGENT_COMPUTER_ID_PLUS
Afer this procedure, you should be able to use SEPManager with no issue.

    Hello Junaid,

The database only has policies and the group formation in the clients tab. we cannot restore the databse in ur case since the db may not be good and its possible that restoring the same again could have you land up in the same issue again.

If you have your latest Copy of Data backup you and if db is restored in SEPM .

Please check policy configuration from option below.

    ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/products/symantec_endpoint_protection/11.0/manuals/symantec_endpoint_protection_getting_started_guide.pdf

Alternatively i would highly suggest before making changes or Before performing Disaster Recovery Please backup the Policies so that you can revert back once the SEPM is up.
