    Hi
I have a weird problem with SEP client. First of all I installed only Antivirus and spyware package on client, restarted all machines, checked the virus definitions (are updated) all seems good but then i was logged in as an administrator. Now drama starts when I log in as limited account it loads the antivirus client, but it gives the red circle ("DISABLE") and I can not open the SEP window. I don’t know what’s happening.

    What I have tried
    * I did stopped the policy for a particular account (no luck)
    * I tried and upgrade the package with the same one (no luck)
    * tried uninstalled the client and reinstall it  (no luck)
    * uninstalled everything and install new package with ALL FETURES (no luck)

these all I have done after disabling policy for client.

One more thing I have installed the same clients to all other clients, and the funny thing is they all have same policy and user account it worked well why not here?

    any suggestions appriciated

    thanks

I have one more thing to add which I didn’t mention.

The only difference between the other sites and this is I have added some software blocking policies, and when I installed the client the policies were on.
but again I have tried after stopping the policy it didn’t work.

Whether Symantec endpoint protection service is getting stated. If no check the permissions.

Logon as administrator Check the policy serial no whether it is same as in SEPM(the serial no which you got after disabling those policies). If no give update policy for getting latest policy.

    Hi guys

Its was the group policy which was preventing the Symantec services to run.
I only put all symntec services on "not configured" and that would work for me.

    Thanks for your help
