Do you have aaplication and device control policy turned of to disable USB's.. if so kindly disable the same and that should resolve your issue.

Looks like there is a device control policy configured for blocking USB devices.

To confirm the above and to resolve the issue,

Please follow the below link

How to block USB devices while excluding mouse and keyboard?

http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH161779

Hope that resolves the issue...

Is this happening for All machines ?or on one machine only

Might be posible you have configured a group in which USB is disabled , Locate the machine in SEPM and move it to defaul group for this right click on client move select default group and reboot the machine to check .

Note above is just to check if there is any policy in the group where the machine was discovering problems with keyboard .

See link below how to configure the policy

Under policies tab adc policy if you see USB blocked you can try removing it .

However try first option which i have posted .

Hi,

Add the Human Interface device to devices excluded list

-> Policies
-> Application and devices control
-> Select the policy want to modify
-> Add Human Interface devices and imaging devices to devices excluded list.

Thanks.

Exclude mouse and keyboard from being blocked.

a. In the Application and Device Control policy pop-up window, Add Human Interface Devices into the Devices Excluded From Blocking section
