    Hey everybody,

To help clear out some of the spyware/malware/viruses in my company I am running a test that enables the Application and Device control policy.  I am protecting the Run and RunOnce folders located in Current User, and Local Machine in the Windows registry.  It does a great job blocking the viruses from planting a startup key but it also does a great job in preventing any program from doing the same.

Does anybody know if there is there a way or a command that will ask the user for a password to add a registry key?

Not with SEP. I recommend adding the idea to the "Ideas" section of the forum. If this is a feature that many users ask for, then the developers could possibly add it to a future release of the product.
