  • 1.  Symantec Endpoint Client not showing in Manager

    Symantec clients cannot be seen on sep manager console. We imported sylink file to one of clients.After that we have seen the client on sep manager but it disappeared again after a while. Meanwhile we saw the client IP, logon infrormation was incorrect. The client we tested begun to disappear. We have total 800 clients and we onlt could see 300 ones in console. Any help would be appreciatedcrying

    Hi,

    Are you using Image OS ?

    SEPM version ?

    Hi,

    Thanks a lot for your help. I installed new package but it could not solve the problem. Is that repair operation still required ? Is it correcting something like different?

    Hi,

    Is the client showing proper IP address in Help ->Troubleshooting ?

    Client are showing green dot ?

    You can follow steps one or two client as per artical and runy RepairClonedImage.exe r.

    Hi,

     Windows 7 machines, Please check this

    a. Disable the Windows Firewall or create exceptions for the ports on these machines to communicate to the SEPM http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH163787

    b. Disable the UAC (User Account Control) and restart the machine.

    c. If that does not work, please provide us with sylink.log from one of those machine.

    hi,

    as you may see in the attachement, symantec coluld take all the updates regarding schedule the only problem is we cannot see in the sep console...

    Hi,

    We installed the client from image as cloned. It could not be seen on sep manager. We impored and applied sylynk.xml already to the client. After that we could  see it in sep manager, but, as you may see in the attachment machine IP and logon name seems wrong on Sep manager. After 1-2 hours this client disappears from sep manager. We have these problems.

    Which solutions you suggested above should we apply to solve this problem?

    Any help would be much appreciated
