    Hi all,

      We have been running into some encryption issues with the new dell machines with Nvme drives. If the SATA mode is on AHCI and once the disk encryption has started and reached around 1%, then when a reboot is done, the laptop fails to go into windows after the user enters their credentials at syamntec prompt. It's stuck at a black screen with an error cannot recognize this device.

    If we use a 2.5 inch SSD, everything works great in AHCI. So far the only way we have been able to run this encryption software on nvme drives is by changing the SATA operation to RAID ON.

    Does anybody have any idea why this is happening? We would really like to get this working with nvme drives on AHCI mode as this is becoming a huge problem now. Please advise.
