    Hey all.

I have a bit of a frustrating problem.  I'm working on a couple of Dell Latitude E6520s for some users in our organization.  Per our Data Governance policy, all of our client machines have their hard drives encrypted, and the solution we've chosen is Symantec Endpoint Encryption 11.1.1.  For the most part, it has worked well - it has synced reasonably well with our Active Directory user accounts and computers (although it seems to be pretty bad at detecting computer name changes) and our users are, as a result, able to authenticate past the drive encryption using a username and password they are familiar with.  I have installed and configured Symantec Endpoint Encryption on easily over 100 machines of varying makes and models, and where possible, I've been trying to set these machines up using UEFI boot and GPT storage partitioning.

For the most part, that has worked well, except with these two Dell Latitude E6520s.  For some reason, when I install Symantec Endpoint Encryption and reboot a second time after the first restart after the initial installation, I am prompted with the usual Symantec Endpoint Encryption pre-boot authentication screen - but without any text fields in which to enter credentials and domain information.  Instead, I simply get an error message that says:  "Drive Encryption Recovery: Press any key to continue."  I press a key, and I get another error message on the same screen:  "No record found.  Press any key to reboot."  From here, you might imagine that I end up in an endless boot loop.  You would be correct.

It's a bit strange, since we've been able to get Symantec Endpoint Encryption up and running with nearly no problems whatsoever on our Dell Latitude E6320s, which are virtually the exact same computer - just 13" instead of 15".

    Here's our specs:

    Dell Latitude E6520:

    1. BIOS Revision:  A19 (latest)
    2. Operating System:  Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
    3. Storage Driver:  Intel Rapid Storage Technology 14.8.0.1042
    4. Storage Volume:  LiteOnIT LCT-128M3S
