Endpoint Encryption

After Symantec Endpoint Encryption client been installed no Windows Server 2012 R2 it does not appear in the menu "SEE Managed Computers -> Unassigned".

All communication ports open between server and client. From previous experience with SEE clients on Windows 7 - it was there in «SEE Managed Computers -> Unassigned".

Any thoughts on this issue?

The machines would appear in the SEE unassinged group only when you have disabled the AD sync service.

Go to the SEEMS configuration and Disable the AD sync check box, this should help you to get the

machines under the SEE unassinged group

When "AD sync” checkbox is enabled and clients start to report in, they will then be listed under “ Symantec Endpoint Encryption Users and Computers - Active Directory Computers". However, when there is an issue with “AD sync” or it is disabled, and a client computer then checks in it will then be listed under “Symantec Endpoint Encryption Users and Computers - Symantec Endpoint Encryption Managed Computers”.
