Endpoint Encryption

  • 1.  Symantec Endpoint Encryption error

    When I reboot the computer I'm getting the following error
    "The system cannot end your session right now.  SEE is applying new settings.  This may take a several minutes.  Please try again later."  I waited over 1.5 hours and still get the same error massage to pop up.

    Hi, could you supply a bit more information please? Just one computer or multiple? Windows XP? Which version of SEE?

    3 computers out of 50 that were rolled out so far.  Windows XP SP3, SEE 7.0.5

    The only thing similar I've heard of is if any SEE windows are still left open. Otherwise is there anything in the event log about it? Look for 'Symantec' source.
