    Hi,

My name is Jorge Ruiz and I have some questions about  the license of SEE

    1. Is exist a permanent license, this for avoid to renew every year ?

    2. What  included this license?

    3. If I bought for one year and then I dont do the renewal of the license, what will happen with the software, what are features that will stop?

    Thanks a lot

    Regards

    1.  The license is persistent.  You do not need to renew to continue using it.

    2.  Renewing the support entitles you to the latest releases and maintenance packs, as well as access to our 24/7 technical support staff.  If you don't renew support after the initial support period expires, you would not have access to new releases which might contain bug fixes or feature enhancements, and you would not be able to call technical support if you did experience an issue.

    3.  After support ends, features of the software are not disabled.  It will continue to function as normal.

    Hi again,

Just to confirm, the Symantec Endpoint Encryption has a Management Center Console for the control of all computers on the network.

This function keep working yet although we don't do the renew the licence for another year?

    Thanks a lot

Yes, the functionality will continue working.  The renewal is only for technical support and product updates.  No functions will be disabled.

The license applies to all systems currently encrypted and in a functional state.  In the event of a drive failure, the new drive would just replace the old one for licensing purposes.
