    Hello,

Could you upload the SEP_Inst.log from the client machine, for indepth analysis.

In case of Suspicious Activity like Virus, I would suggest you to  -

    1) Using Symantec Support Tool, how do we Collect the Suspicious Files and Submit the same to Symantec Security Response Team.

    2) Run the SERT (Symantec Endpoint Recovery Tool)

How To Use the Symantec Endpoint Recovery Tool with the Latest Virus Definitions

    VIDEO - https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/videos/symantec-endpoint-recovery-tool-sert

Also, check: Is your system infected? Symantec tools to help clear an infection

    Hope that helps!!

You can use the below tool to clean the threat

    ftp://ftp.symantec.com/misc/tools/nss/

    Then try an installation.

Also check if you have any previously installed AV that may be affecting

Clear all the old AV's files and folders. Run the Symantec Support Tool and check for the logs.

    If still nothing Call Support!
