I am trying to install Symantec endpoint protection for my environment. I have 6 servers and 8 pc's and want to install it on my web server as I require to IIS5 or greater to configure my web login. Can anyone help me with a step by step on the proper procedure on doing this? I tried to follow the on line instructions but having some major issues. I have uninstalled everything and want to start from scratch. Any advise would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    1. Make sure you download the latest version of SEP from https://fileconnect.symantec.com by entering your serial number ( Th latest version is called  RU5/MR5/11.0.5002.333/11.0.5 )

    2. Follow this doc
    http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-security.nsf/docid/2007082915561148

    3. Once your SEP Manager has been installed then you can use WEB Console

    by going to
    http:\\SEPM server Name:9090

I actually get the internet through an external address coming in to my router. I am in the middle of the Sahara desert and our internet connection goes up and down a lot...Never consistent. I am inquiring to get the virus def and updates through the intellegent updater... Any ideas?

    Thanks,
