Hi Team Symantec,
Have this one itsy-bitsy problem that I encountered today while I am installing Symantec Endpoint Client on one of the machine, here are the details:
Mode of Installation: Remote Push via Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager
Status: As per SEP_Inst logs, the installation of SEP client was successful
Machine: Windows 2008 Server Standard 32-bit
SEP Version: 12.1.4023.4080
There is no sign or the Symantec Endpoint Protection Client is not present or is not reflecting on the client machine.
We did checked on the Program Files > Symantec > folder, unfortunately there is no folder that says Symantec Endpoint Protection.
There had been an entry under the Windows Registry for Symantec Endpoint Protection but the entry is empty (no sub-entries).
In addition, the client machine is present on the SEP Manager but the Health State is OFFLINE.
Also, the Symantec services were not registered or not showing under the Windows Services Applet.
Worried to perform manual installation as the server or client machine might again encounter another BSOD error.
We are connected to the client machine remotely.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Regards.
