The SEPM service depends on the World Wide Web publishing service, could you see if this is running?

The WWW publishing service in turn relies on the following services, HTTP SSL, IIS Admin Service and RPC.

Maybe you could check to see if the World Wide Web publishing service is running?

    Hello,

This seems Suspicious. Could you please work on the steps provided in this Article:

Using Symantec Support Tool, how do we Collect the Suspicious Files and Submit the same to Symantec Security Response Team.

    Hope that helps!!

    Hi Ashok ,

Could you please try following .

    1. As you have already removed Sep client , make sure to remove all Folders from
    2. c:\program files\sep
    3. c:\program data if win 7 or 2k8
    4. and c:\users
    5. Note do not make changes to Netbackup client , however i would like to know were these 2 ie netbackup and sep client working ok on the same machine or either of those are later installed ?
    6. Once Sep is removed reboot the machine and then install Sep
    7. Check if service is started
