    Hi,

since I upated Firefox with the new one Hello version I receive advice from the Firewall that the traffic has been blocked Firefox.exe by rule block UPnP discovery on port 1900. it happens several times (every around 3 minutes) during using Firefox but I never use or open the "Hello feature" of Firefox.

    Is it normal?

It happens just to me ?

it could be a seriuos alarm ?

If  is tt safe how to add an exception ?

Is like something Skype that  tries to open udp port on router ?

    SEP Small Business Edition 12.1.4100.4120

    Thanks

Port 1900 is UPnP traffic and there is a default rule in the firewall to block it. If you need it just allow it. UPnP is like network discovery. It shouldn't be needed in order for the product to function correctly.

Thanks Brian it was I was thinking and i wanted to be sure. I will leave blocked the default rule.

Because I have the advice warning enable, is it possible to exclude just the pop-up warning of that  UPnP discovery rule?

In others words I dont want the advice just of this warning rule.

P.S.: also on another PC with same version happens the same but it has not advice enabled.

It is not possible to exclude pop-ups for specific rules
