Hi all,

please help, i'm trying to push symantec antivirus to a machine having Windows 7 as an OS but its not going through, I can find the computer as an unmanaged computer but can't push the client package.

anyway I have several question
how can i download Symantec endpoint protection manager version 5?

where can I find the serial number of my product?

For win7 follow these steps. Earlier version of Symantec endpoint or not compatible with win7 install MU5 or higher.

Have a llok in this KB.As Refeeq told you have to use Ru5 or above to use for installing in Windows  7 OS.From file connect you will be able to download RU6 now.

one more question, what in the URL to be typed on the client machine's Browser to install the SEP Package??
BTW, still can't push the package to the clients through the manager console, i tried everything, disabled firewall,windows defender and user account control.

so I want to to try it by using the URL on the client workstation.

You can create a single exe package from SEPM ,put it in a www server.Proved that url in the workstation...

I donnu how to.
