    Hello to all,

I'm planning to do an upgrade from Symantec Client Security 3 to SEPP 11 and if possible I want  SEP Manager in English and the clients in Japanese.  I'm not sure if this will be a problem.  If I use the Migration and Deployment Wizard to create a client installation package it will obviously be in English.  I'm still wondering how to accomplish this.  I hope someone can give me advice.  Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

you need to have cd downloaded from fileconnect with japense version and use thos clientpackage to push to the client machines using 3rd party software

Why not have Japenese SEPM instead?

    Hi Pete,

I do have the Japanese version from fileconnect.  It's just easier for me to manage SEPM if it is in English.  And it's also easier for the users if the client is in Japanese.  Can I create a client package (Japanese) without installing SEPM (Japanese)?  From what I read, the Migration and Deployment Wizard will run after installing SEPM.  I don't have a 3rd party software to deploy the client packages, I hope I can still do it.

SEPM with different language will be helpful to everyone, as any one can get it and understand.

login into sepm console --> admin --installation package. Add a package of the SEP client ( japanese language) and us ethe package to install the clients.
