Hi,

I could not access the endpoint protection  manager console this morning, and then I found the symantec endpoint protection manager service failed to start. But I could not start this service manually.

Does someone here help me to fix this issue?

I did repair the SEPm from add/remove program. But the issue still exists.

Post the scm-server-0.log from the SEPM (Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\tomcat\logs)

Please provide error code ?

is the db service running?

Hello,

What version of SEP are you running? Is that SEPM 12.1 OR SEPM 11.x?

What OS are you running the SEPM on?

Is there enough disk space on the machine? How much RAM does the machine carrying?

Did you try starting the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager service?

Upload the scm-server-0.log and catalina.out from tomcat\logs folder, to check the root cause of the issue.

Check if the db services are running.

please paste the scm server0.log abd catalina.out logs.

- Try starting services for SEP Manager and Embedded database.

- Check Event Viewer for the error.

- Provide us with the scm-server-0.log and catalina.out

Did you try rebooting the server?
