    Hi,

We have a production environment where we have 2 SEP managers running on 12.1.5 and we have a number of policies created on these managers.

Since we have been facing issues we are planning to install a new setup of SEP managers with the latest version 12.1.6.

The policies which we have on the old setup we would like to have the same policies on the new setup as well.

We are planning the new setup because the issue we are facing keeps on coming back and there is no permanent fix.

IF we export the policies from the old setup to the new setup will there be some issue or in other words it is OK/Recommended to have the policies exported and imported on the new setup.

    Please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Thanks for your reply.

This is perfectly fine to do and a supported method. What are you concerned with?

Policies also also the part of database so please specify issue details.

However just to stay on safer side can you manually create those policies?

OR else I would recommend to install SEPM on test machine, import policies & verify the results.
