Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition

  • 1.  Symantec Endpoint Protection Migration

    Hi

    My business is using SEPM 12.1.4013.4013. I would like to a migration to a new server.

    However, I could not find database backup and restore wizards in symantec tools folder.

    Please advice.

    What OS version are you using Currently ?

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting in Symantec community.

    It should be available under start programs.

    Go to Start >> All Programs >> Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager >> Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager Tools >> Database Backup up & restore

    Could you share the screenshot?

    Also, meanwhile check can you execute the Database Backup up & restore wizard from the following location.

    Shortcuts of dbtools.bat and sca.bat found under C:\Program Files (x86)\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\bin

    • dbtools.bat would launch Database Backup and Restore.
    • sca.bat would launch Management Server Configuration Wizard.
