Dear Friends,

We are using Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager 12.1 RU4 MP1 with 300 Clients. I had given the C-Drive 100GB from last month Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager folder in program files is being increasing continusly after upgrading to the latest version of the symantec now it's SEPM folder is occupying 46.5 GB of Space. My C-Drive space is having only 26GB. 

What are steps should be taken for increasing size of SEPM folder.

Can any one let me know the steps which should be performed regular basis and How to reduce the space. 

I want to know whether Database should be embedded Database or Shall we move the database to SQL Server in this case. 

Please check the below folders which is occupying the space and I am using embedded database only and now our DB size is 5.5 GB. I had scheduled the backups of DB it will keep last four backups.

SEPM - 46.5 GB, Data - 28GB, MY DB - 5.5 GB and InetPub - 10.5 GB

Is there any other settings should be done for disk management rather than which you have sent Knowledge Article.

In 300 client you can use Embedded datbase, Embedded  database can be support 5000 sep client.

Go to data folder> under out box> import package except current month clear all old temp file will increase the space.

 

 

How many content revisions do you keep? How long are logs stored? Depending on these these could be normal sizes.

I had checked the temp files. If I delete those previous files leaving the current files. Is there will be performance issues on the SEPM Server.

You could also move the backup folder to another partition:

You are not be require to move the database from Embedded to SQL.

If you can remove the temp file it can't be effect on performance.
