Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition

Hello,

I am currently trialling "Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition" and "Symantec Endpoint Protection"

I work for a company of 20 people, so thinking that the Small Business Ed. would be Ideal but the Symantec Endpoint Protection seems to have features that we require that I cannot find in the Small Business Ed. I was wondering if they are in the Small Business Ed. at all?

We have a DMZ in our network and I need to be able to set the port over which Live Update runs. I have found the setting in the Symantec Endpoint Protection software (MSL, Policies) and it worked. However I can not find in the Small Business Ed where to set up a MSL or change the port number.

I have also read a forum post, but could not find anything concrete that the Small Business Ed. does not allow internal Live Updates (i.e. a distribution centre for the updates so all the computers do not have to down load the same updates) Is that true?

I tried to phone the support line, but they told me to post my questions here, I tried to search for my answers but could not find the answer I wanted

There are a number of Differences between SEP SBE 12.1 and SEP EE 12.1

HI Andrew there are certain limitations like MSL is by default created in SBE in Enterprise edition on you can create a MSL , SBE you cannot create a MSL since the policy components tab would be missing
