I tried creating for Forum to know about  the issue. But when I use that name of the infection, the forum is not posted at all. However if I remove the name of the infection, it gets posted. Why??? PFA images.

I created 2 Forum discussion of general issue & 3 forum discussion particularly for the infection mentioning the infeciton name. Out of 3 - 2 were not posted & one was removed. Even in my Activity it wasn't in the list.

BTW, if you guys could let me know any information about the infection that would be higly appreciated. Again do not mention the infection name :-)

The backend spam system may take issue with it because of certain "keywords" and thinks it's possibly malicious.

Again, you need to submit to Symantec for review.

The forum has no way to tell what it is without analyzing/seeing characteristics.

Taking it issue of what we type??? Agreed if its gonna scan the attachments. But the characters of a word with an extention looks really funny... I believe even adding a malicious code on a forum will not affect the host :-/

As I don't work for Symantec nor have insight, it's only an assumption.

Try using quotes around the word.

Better safe than sorry. And absolutely it's possible to add some sort of malicious code, there is always a way.
