    Hello,

Sure the Home users could use the Symantec Endpoint Protection v12.1 RU1 MP1 self managed client software.

Here are the System Requirements Article - http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH174720

    Hope that helps!!

Is there any performance issue or slowness in terms of using it for multimedia graphics design ? and yes heavy gaming usage ?

Long time ago there was Norton Antivirus Gamer edition, but now there is no more :-|

    Hello,

Symantec Endpoint Protection is an Enterprise Security Software whereas Norton is for Home Users.

However, if incase you are using SEP on a home machine I see no issue should appear.

Question arises why not use Norton Product for your personal home usage? Norton 360 and Norton Internet Security 2012 are equally great products.

Infact, Norton 2012 has something "Silent Mode Settings" which is similar to Gaming mode which would work great.

    Hope that helps!!
