I need to know what are the advantage if I make the installation of this new package. If there are any issues reported. Any thing find as relevant to do the succesful deployment of this package.
I have 550 clients with Windows XP and 100 with windows Vista.

Guide to migrating to RU5:

Guide to migrating to RU5: http://service1.symantec.com/support/ent-security....

Whats New: http://service1.symantec.com/support/ent-security....

Those are just the guides to the two questions you asked. I am sure you will want to hear from other non-symantec employees and their thoughts, but those should give you a good start. Hope these help.

Thanks
Grant

I was having an issue with

I was having an issue with some clients and the Smc.exe taking up 50% of the CPU while idle as well as the same client not connecting to SEPM for updates, etc. As a last resort, I installed 11.0.5 and both issues went away.

Another issue that we have

Another issue that we have seen crop up alot right before RU5 came out was Windows Security Center displaying the message "Symantec Endpoint Protection is on but is reporting its status to Windows Security Center in a format that is no longer supported", but this was fixed in RU5. I don't know if you guys have been seeing this but I am assuming you have since you are still running a previous version of SEP.

Hope this helps,
Grant
